June-August

Our summer has been busy. With the arrival of the new babies, we have been trying to achieve and maintain some sense of routine. We have been enjoying the freedom of summer, yet wanting to continue working on some of our skills. We have been continuing to do lot's of art activities, reading and the odd math lesson. We worked up to lesson 9 in our "Right Start Math" but we plan to review in September. We are still on lesson 70 in our "Teach your child to read in 100 Easy lessons" as we took a break and have been reading other "beginner" level books. We worked through one of the stories, "Big Sarah, Little Boots" and enjoyed trying many of the activities laid out in "Come Sit With Me".

We look forward to the start of school........
