Learning about the environment through studying tree biscuits.  We learned to count the rings and recognize good growing years, or years of drought and hardship.

Learning about survival.  Alex and Jordan spent a week building a shelter in the woods.  

I’m leading a 6 week hiking club. Today we explored the woods in the BX, found 5 geocaches and played hide and seek and discussed strategies for when you are lost.  Our goal is to place our own geocache and make a video to show at the end.

3x ski class through Heritage learning camp  Jan 31, February 19 and March 3

-Jan 31-Boys had a great day in Level 3 ski class.  Rode lot's of runs and were able to do a Black Diamond run with their class.  They were also able to explore some runs together after class.

Went to the interior track meet.  Boys competed in 100m, 400m, disqus, shot put and long jump.  They had a great day competing and spending time with friends.
