It's been a whirlwind of fun during the last few weeks!
We've had family visiting, and spent time together having adventures.
Both Caileigh, Mikayla and my Mom have December birthdays, so we went on a girls overnight trip.
Caileigh's big accomplishment was learning to swim (with a lifejacket). She became much more confident in the water and we look forward to practicing these skills.
Aiden received a new Lego set for Christmas and set it up independently. Out of the 4 pages of instructions, Sean helped with with one step. Aiden learned a lot about car parts during the assembly and you can see more on his blog.
Aiden received a planner for Christmas and he has been making plans for his Lego building. He writes things like..... Jan3, build Lego castle, pg. 34 in Lego book.
He loves to organize and plan so this has been enjoyable for him to make plans/goals and accomplish them.
Caileigh received a jewellery making kit for her birthday and the kids had fun making beads.
We had fun going on a sleigh ride for Gramma's birthday
There have also been many opportunities for baking, gift making, serving guests, playing games and thank you card writing!
