Mikayla completed 12 challenges over Christmas break assigned by her teacher including things like, playing a song 5 times in a row working on dynamics, writing out the counting of entire song then playing 3 times through each day, completing an extra theory sheet, teaching someone in the family to play jingle bells, etc.

Weekly swimming. Mikayla is gaining more endurance and can easily swim from one end of the pool to the other unassisted. She loves to swim under water and practice unique, interesting jumps into the water.

To work on increased writing, each day Mikayla is illustrating a picture then writing 3-4 sentences about the picture. Giving it a grade out of 4.
Continuing to work on writing. Writing paper on Killer Whales. Mikayla shared her project with reading club.
Completing a Book Report sheet on Fairy Tales. Mikayla used The Snow queen as her outline and looked at components such as setting, characters, plot, problem and solution, etc.
