Lemonade Stand

While Caileigh had her baking class, Mikayla set up a craft session for the kids to participate in.  She initially looked at making fairy jars but after making a sample, we discovered that the glow in the dark paint didn't work.  We will be buying different paint and testing the project again so Mikayla can make it for the next baking/craft session.  Mikayla looked through a craft book and online to get her idea for the craft, bought the materials and set up.
September 2-Mikayla taught a second craft session and they painted canvasses

Fine Arts

-Mikayla phones Gramma each day and gives her a "concert" while she practices
-Attended portions of the music festival and listened to the participants.
-Performing in year end recital

Testing out an online art class and drawing different lines to create turtles and caterpillars.
Lesson on drawing butterflies.....discussing "drafts" and continuing to use observation to make changes.

Mikayla has been watching youtube tutorials on drawing.
