I gave the younger three a cake decorating challenge. They first drew their designs on paper. We had a vote on what they thought the best design was. The kids then got to design a second idea to go along with the winner's design. The final step was for the kids to decorate 3 cupcakes each, and decorate the large cake together.
Mikayla is working on knitting a blanket for a baby cousin. She completed it:)
-Mikayla and her friend Ben are having bi-monthly cooking classes. Our themes are Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Dessert and then our final cooking class will be a cooking challenge against the Girls Team. Mikayla and Ben are creating a Sway Presentation of their cooking class.

-Weekly Musical Theater-Mikayla is working on memorizing her 72 lines needed for her classes spring production of High School Musical. She has the role of Chad.
-Taking part in Mamma Mia production. 4 evening performances and a matinee.
Weekly tenor drumming practice. Mik has learned how to do the 4/4 march and the 2/4 march.
Mikayla has applied to go to Piping Hot Summer Drummer, a week long workshop on Silver Star this summer. She has applied for a bursary and had to fill out a submission form with reasons why she should be picked.
Mikayla received a $300 bursary

Mikayla attended a week long Art Camp.
They worked with acryllics, did pointillism, water colour, drawing, collages, puzzle, tie-dye, paper mache and more!
