Communicable vs non-communicable disease
-I gave the boys a challenge.  I asked them if they knew the difference between communicable and non-communicable diseases.  They made some guesses of what it might be.  I then asked how they could find out?  Where could they go to get the information?  They suggested Brain Pop and Discovery Education.  After accessing these sites, they searched for the information.  They watched a video on each topic from Discovery Education and then went to Brain Pop and watched videos on immunizations, obesity, diabetes and chicken pox.  I then asked how they could share the information they learned.  They decided they wanted to make a video to share.  They came up with the idea and executed it on their own.
