Math-Lesson 52-55-Graphing, adding two, counting by 5's, counting with a calculator

Language Arts-Read 2 chapter books, "Cam Jansen and the Snowy Day Mystery" by David Adler and "Jigsaw Jones and the case of the Buried Treasure" by James Preller
After reading these two mystery books, Aiden made a treasure map and stuffed it inside a paper towel roll. He then sealed it up and wrote, "Open" on it. He took a tin and filled it with gems and is planning on hiding it in our back garden. He wants Sean to hide the clues in our house after we move out so that the new owners will find the map, follow the clues to the treasure and be delightfully surprised.

Reading-Level 1 "I can Read books", eaglecrest books. Aiden was thrilled to discover that he can read books right off our book shelf. He calls these "real" books.

Printing-Daily practice, working on using smaller case letters rather than relying on upper case

Bible- romans 10:15 "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news". We are working on our character. Obeying quickly and cheerfully. We are losing privileges for whining or responding to requests with dramatics. We obey first and ask questions later. We are working towards choosing to be cheerful and positive in all circumstances. (this is for me too!!) We are trying to "catch" one another being kind, helpful, responsible and showing initiative.

Science-Read, "Do you know birds?". Studied a birds nest. Made a milk carton bird feeder and put it outside.

Art-Painted canvass paintings for the new playroom.

Activities-library time, enjoying special time with Hannah. She has been coming one afternoon to assist me with the kids and it is such a pleasure and joy to have her. She spends time with the older kids baking or doing crafts and helps with the care of the babies.
