Math-

Aiden completed Right Start Math B! He finished his final exam and did well. He's excited to start Level C on Monday.

Caileigh-working on adding double digits to 100. eg. 70+30=100 etc. She started to make the connection to 7+3=10 and noticing it was just adding a 0.

Reading about Joshua fighting the battle of Jericho.

Wrote a letter to our sponsor child.

Language Arts-We worked on our first spelling lesson. Wrote out the words, practiced them in a mock spelling bee. Used our words in sentences.

Grammar lessons-working on months of the year poem and days of the week poem.

Wrote letters, copywork, science worksheet.

Daily reading.

Science-Finished up our unit on grasslands. Learned about ways to protect grasslands. Drew a picture of our favorite grasslands animal. Finished up a worksheet summarizing our findings.

Social Studies-Worked on 2 pages in their map book.

Studied the Phoencians. Made purple dye using berries and dyed a pair of white socks. Watched videos on glass blowing. Colored a picture and narrated their learning.

Fine Arts-Art class. Drew a picture of a scene and will draw it again later to note changes. Eg. Caileigh drew the trees outside. She drew the brown branches and only a few leaves.

The kids are working on their Christmas gift sewing projects.

Piano lessons and practice.

PE-Daily minimum of 30min. outside.
