Sept 7-11

Math- We reviewed the first 8 lessons and completed lesson 9. Aiden wanted to do more "school" so he began to make up activities for himself. He first set up some patterns with his tiles. He then announced that 3 groups of 22 amount to 66. It was neat to see him work through this independently. He then counted by 10's and wrote out 10, 20, 30....up to 100. Once he reached 100 he wrote by 1's to 120.

Language Arts-working through people of the past. Reading about pioneers in a book from the library. Read through, "The White Stone in the Castle Wall." Made a castle of our own and wrote a story about a castle.

Aiden drew a self portrait. We will draw one at the end of the year to see the changes.

Reading-Daily practice in reading out loud. (Bob books) Listening to me read the chapter book, "Mustang in the Mist."

Printing-Daily practice

Bible-Daily scripture practice and activities/stories

Science-Completed experiment on solids.

PE-Daily outside play, swimming
