Read Aloud
-The Boxcar Children #2-Surprise Island.
- The Boxcar Children #3- The Yellow House Mystery
-The Boxcar Children #4- Mystery Ranch (currently reading)
- The Adventures of Chatterer the Red Squirrel by Thorton Burgess ( currently reading)
- wisdom & the millers (currently reading)

-Starting her alphabet book.  Writing out a sentence each day. eg. A is for airplane.
-Reading through a variety of alphabet books, eg. northern alphabet, city alphabet, northern alphabet, etc.

Reading 1 chapter of Wisdom and the Millers each day and then having Mikayla narrate to me one thing that happened.  I write out this sentence and it becomes her copywork.



















-Daily reading practice

Science

Looking at pictures of various animals/plants eg. a lion and a cat.  Describing the ways that they are different and the ways that they are the same.

Reading through, "The Berenstain Bears Big Book of Science and Nature."

Reading books on insects. Learning about the characteristics that make an insect.

She completed a worksheet.


























Reading books about the body.

Brainstorming words to describe items, eg. soft, hard, smooth, rough, etc.
